Which company owns the Audi brand?

Audi’s modern corporate history began when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz in 1964. Volkswagen later acquired NSU in 1969; the combined business eventually became Audi AG. Audi’s four-ring logo recalls the 1932 merger of Audi, DKW, Horch and Wanderer into Auto Union.
