Which company developed the 1999 Pokémon Snap game?
Answer
HAL Laboratory
Answer
HAL Laboratory
HAL Laboratory developed the 1999 Pokémon Snap game. Nintendo published the Nintendo 64 photography adventure.
Instead of battling or collecting Pokémon in the usual role-playing format, players control photographer Todd Snap. He rides the automated Zero-One vehicle through Pokémon Island and takes pictures for Professor Oak to evaluate.
The game was first released in Japan in March 1999, followed by North American release in July 1999. It was one of the earliest Pokémon console games to present many Pokémon in real-time 3D.
Pokémon Snap contains seven courses, including Beach, Tunnel, Volcano, River, Cave, Valley, and Rainbow Cloud. It featured 63 Pokémon from the original 151. A sequel, New Pokémon Snap, was developed by Bandai Namco Studios and released in 2021.
