Pink is especially associated with traditional quinceañera dresses.
Pink became a familiar color in popular representations of the celebration because it conveys youth, femininity, and the princess imagery often connected with the event. Many classic dresses, decorations, invitations, and cakes have used pink as a central color.
Pink is not required, however. Quinceañeras may wear white, blue, red, purple, gold, or other colors, and contemporary celebrations often reflect personal taste rather than a fixed palette. The color tradition is therefore a common association, not a ceremonial rule or religious requirement.
