Which college did NBA superstar Grant Hill go to?

The story behind the answer

NBA superstar Grant Hill went to Duke University. He played four seasons for the Duke Blue Devils under coach Mike Krzyzewski and became one of the program’s most accomplished players.

Hill joined Duke in 1990 and contributed to national championship teams in 1991 and 1992. The Blue Devils defeated Kansas in the 1991 final and Michigan in the 1992 final, making Hill part of one of college basketball’s most celebrated eras.

As a senior, Hill helped Duke reach the 1994 NCAA championship game. He was selected by the Detroit Pistons with the third pick in the 1994 NBA draft and shared the 1995 NBA Rookie of the Year award with Jason Kidd.

People sometimes remember Hill primarily for his NBA career with Detroit, Orlando, Phoenix, and the Los Angeles Clippers. His college identity, however, is firmly tied to Duke, where his number 33 was later retired.
