Which college did 2026 deadline reliever A.J. Minter attend?
Answer
Texas A&M
Answer
Texas A&M
A.J. Minter attended Texas A&M University. He played college baseball for the Texas A&M Aggies before beginning his professional career in the Atlanta Braves organization.
Minter arrived at Texas A&M after attending Brook Hill School in Bullard, Texas. As an Aggie, he developed into a highly regarded left-handed pitcher and helped attract major-league attention. The Braves selected him in the second round of the 2015 MLB draft, and he reached the majors in 2016.
The college answer is sometimes confused with Minter’s high-school and draft history. He was selected by the Detroit Tigers in the 38th round of the 2012 draft out of high school, but he did not sign then and instead went to Texas A&M. His college was therefore Texas A&M, not Arkansas, Florida State, or LSU.
