Which collaborator is credited alongside Taylor Swift as a co-writer of "august"?

Jack Antonoff is credited alongside Taylor Swift as a co-writer of "august."

Antonoff and Swift had already worked together on songs for 1989, Reputation, and Lover before collaborating on Folklore. For "august," Antonoff first created the instrumental and sent it to Swift, who wrote the lyrics intuitively and quickly.

The song's production combines dream pop, guitar pop, and soft rock elements. Antonoff contributed instruments, programming, guitars, drums, percussion, and recording, helping create the hazy, layered sound associated with the track.

Joe Alwyn is sometimes confused with Antonoff because he is also credited as a producer on the song. Aaron Dessner was another major Folklore collaborator, but he is not listed as a co-writer of "august." The writing credit belongs to Swift and Antonoff, while the production credit includes Swift, Antonoff, and Alwyn.
