Which cocktail is made with vodka, coffee liqueur, and cream?

A cocktail made with vodka, coffee liqueur and cream is a White Russian. It is normally built over ice in an old-fashioned or rocks glass, with the cream poured over the vodka-and-coffee-liqueur base.

The drink developed from the Black Russian, whose basic combination is vodka and coffee liqueur. Adding cream creates the pale, richer version known as the White Russian. Despite the name, neither cocktail has a known Russian origin; “Russian” refers to vodka as the principal spirit.

The White Russian is often associated with The Big Lebowski, whose protagonist, Jeffrey “The Dude” Lebowski, frequently drinks one. That film connection helped make the cocktail especially recognisable, but it did not create the drink.
