Which club won the 2026 UEFA Super Cup?
Answer
Paris Saint-Germain
Answer
Paris Saint-Germain
Paris Saint-Germain won the 2026 UEFA Super Cup. The French club defeated Aston Villa 2–1 in Salzburg to retain the trophy it had first won in 2025.
Paris qualified as the reigning UEFA Champions League winner, while Aston Villa entered as the 2025–26 UEFA Europa League champion. The match therefore paired the winners of Europe’s two leading men’s club competitions.
The victory gave Paris Saint-Germain its second UEFA Super Cup title and made the club only the third to win the competition in consecutive seasons. AC Milan had previously achieved the feat in 1989 and 1990, followed by Real Madrid in 2016 and 2017. Paris became the first French club to win the trophy twice.
