Which clothing company uses a red rectangular flag with the white word Levi's?

The story behind the answer

Levi Strauss & Co. uses a red rectangular flag with the white word “Levi’s.”

The red Tab and related red wordmark are among the most recognizable identifiers in denim. Levi Strauss & Co. introduced the red Tab on jeans in 1936 to distinguish its products from competitors. The tab was originally a small fabric label sewn into the back pocket, while the red rectangular wordmark became a prominent part of later packaging, signs, and advertising.

The company is often confused with Lee and Wrangler because all three are major American denim brands. Its earlier “Two Horse” leather patch is a separate Levi’s identifier, depicting two horses pulling apart a pair of jeans. Levi Strauss founded the company in San Francisco during the nineteenth-century California Gold Rush, but the red Tab came much later.
