Which city in Silicon Valley is Apple Park located in? Apple Park is located in Cupertino, California.
Apple Park is Apple Inc.’s corporate headquarters at 1 Apple Park Way in Cupertino. The campus replaced Apple’s earlier headquarters, Apple Campus, which was also located in the same city and reflected Apple’s long-standing connection to Cupertino.
The main building is a vast circular structure often nicknamed “the spaceship.” Designed by Norman Foster’s architectural firm with major input from Steve Jobs and Jony Ive, it was intended to resemble a nature-filled campus rather than a conventional office park. The site includes extensive landscaping, an inner courtyard, and the Steve Jobs Theater.
The project was announced to Cupertino officials in 2006, construction began in 2014, and employees began moving in during April 2017. A common mix-up is confusing Cupertino with nearby Santa Clara, Mountain View, or Menlo Park, all prominent Silicon Valley locations but not Apple Park’s city.
