Which city hosted Sail250’s July 4–8, 2026 port call for America250?
Answer
New York City
Answer
New York City
New York City hosted Sail250’s July 4–8, 2026 port call for America250.
The New York segment was organized as Sail4th 250 and centered on the Independence Day weekend. On July 4, an International Naval Review was followed by a Parade of Sail led by the United States Coast Guard cutter Eagle.
The ships traveled from the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge past the Statue of Liberty and up the Hudson River toward the George Washington Bridge. Public ship visits took place at piers in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and New Jersey from July 5 to July 7.
New York was one of five host cities in the wider Sail250 tour. The other port calls were New Orleans, Norfolk, Baltimore, and Boston. Boston hosted the tour’s finale later in July, so it is a plausible alternative but not the answer for the July 4–8 segment.
