Nick Jonas plays Nate in Disney’s Camp Rock 3.
Nate is a member of Connect 3, the fictional music group that links the Jonas Brothers’ characters across the Camp Rock films. Nick Jonas reprises the part after playing Nate in the earlier movies.
The three Jonas Brothers have separate character names in the story: Joe Jonas plays Shane Gray, Nick Jonas plays Nate, and Kevin Jonas plays Jason. Because the performers are also a real-life band, viewers sometimes mix up the actors’ names and their fictional identities.
Camp Rock 3 places Connect 3 alongside a new generation of campers. Nate therefore belongs to the returning side of the cast, while characters such as Sage, Fletch, Rosie and Cliff represent the newer group competing for attention and musical opportunities.
