Which bird of prey is known for eating large amounts of palm fruit?

The story behind the answer

The palm-nut vulture is known for eating large amounts of palm fruit.

Unlike most large birds of prey, the palm-nut vulture has a diet dominated by plant material, especially the fruits of oil palms and raffia palms. It also eats fish, crabs, frogs, insects, and carrion, particularly when animal foods are available.

The species lives in wooded habitats and wetlands across sub-Saharan Africa. Its dependence on palms explains both its common name and its close association with human-modified landscapes where oil palms grow.

It is still a genuine raptor, with hooked talons and a hooked bill, even though fruit is central to its diet. The bearded vulture is another unusual feeder, but it is famous for bones rather than palm fruit.
