Which Beyoncé song features the line “I’m a survivor”?

The Beyoncé-associated song featuring the line “I’m a survivor” is “Survivor.” It was recorded by Destiny’s Child and released in 2001 as the lead single from the group’s third studio album, also titled Survivor.

The song was written by Beyoncé, Anthony Dent, and Mathew Knowles. Its resilient message became especially prominent because Destiny’s Child had undergone multiple lineup changes before the song’s release. The final trio on the recording was Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams.

“Survivor” reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and became one of Destiny’s Child’s defining hits. It won the Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals in 2002. The song belongs to Destiny’s Child’s catalog, so describing it simply as a Beyoncé solo recording would be a common classification mistake.
