Which award did Bolt win in 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2016? He won the IAAF World Athlete of the Year award.
The award recognised the outstanding male athlete in global track and field. Bolt first received it after his breakthrough 2008 season, when he won three Olympic gold medals and set world records in the 100 metres, 200 metres and 4 × 100 metres relay.
He repeated the honour in 2009 after lowering the 100-metre world record to 9.58 seconds and the 200-metre record to 19.19. His later victories followed major championship success, including Olympic titles in London and Rio and world championships in Moscow and Beijing.
Bolt did not win the award in every year of that period: David Rudisha won in 2010 and Ashton Eaton won in 2015. The organisation that presented the honour, the IAAF, was renamed World Athletics in 2019, so newer references may call it the World Athlete of the Year award.
