Which assistant referee represented Djibouti in the 2026 UEFA Super Cup?

The story behind the answer

Liban Abdoulrazack Ahmed represented Djibouti as an assistant referee in the 2026 UEFA Super Cup.

He formed part of the officiating team for Paris Saint-Germain’s 2–1 victory over Aston Villa at the Red Bull Arena in Salzburg. Stephen Eleazar Onyango Yiembe, from Kenya, was the other assistant referee.

The match officials came from several countries. Omar Artan of Somalia was the referee, Rade Obrenović of Slovenia was the fourth official, and Italy’s Marco Di Bello served as the video assistant referee.

This officiating team also reflected the historic nature of the match. Artan became the first non-European referee to take charge of a UEFA Super Cup, while the assistant referees represented African football alongside him.
