Which artist won the Grammy for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration in 2010?

Jay-Z, Rihanna & Kanye West won the 2010 Grammy for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration with “Run This Town.” The award was presented at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards on January 31, 2010, honoring music released during the preceding eligibility period.

“Run This Town” pairs Jay-Z’s rap verses with Rihanna’s sung hook and Kanye West’s featured contribution. The song was released in 2009 as the second single from Jay-Z’s album The Blueprint 3, and its dramatic production was handled by Kanye West, No I.D., and others.

A common mix-up is “Empire State of Mind,” another Jay-Z collaboration that featured Alicia Keys. That song won Best Rap Song at the same ceremony but was not the Best Rap/Sung Collaboration winner. “Run This Town” also competed against tracks by Beyoncé and Kanye West, Keri Hilson, The Lonely Island, T-Pain, T.I., and Justin Timberlake.
