Kendrick Lamar won five awards at the 2025 Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year for “Not Like Us.”
“Not Like Us” was released in 2024 and became one of the central songs in Lamar’s highly publicized musical dispute with Drake. Its sharp lyrics, West Coast production, and cultural impact helped it become a major commercial and awards success.
At the 67th Grammy Awards, the song won Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song, and Best Music Video. This made it one of the most decorated individual songs in Grammy history.
Lamar had previously won major Grammys for songs and albums including “i,” To Pimp a Butterfly, and DAMN. His 2025 sweep placed a rap recording at the center of the ceremony’s major categories.
