Billie Eilish won Album of the Year at the 2020 Grammy Awards for When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?.
The album was Eilish’s debut studio album and became one of the defining pop releases of the late 2010s. It included songs such as “Bad Guy,” “Bury a Friend,” and “When the Party’s Over.”
At the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards, Eilish won all four major general-field categories: Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist. She became the first woman and the second performer overall to achieve that sweep in one ceremony.
The album’s win is sometimes confused with its win for Best Pop Vocal Album, which it also received. Album of the Year honors the complete album, while Record and Song of the Year recognize a recording and songwriting achievement.
