The Portland Fire’s home venue is Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.
Moda Center is Portland’s principal indoor sports arena and sits in the Rose Quarter, alongside Veterans Memorial Coliseum. It opened on October 12, 1995, originally under the name Rose Garden. The arena was renamed Moda Center in 2013 after a naming-rights agreement.
The building has long been associated with basketball as the home of the NBA’s Portland Trail Blazers. The revived Portland Fire joined the venue’s tenant list when the WNBA awarded Portland an expansion franchise in 2024 for the 2026 season. The arena also hosted the original Portland Fire from 2000 through 2002.
Portland Fire games are therefore played at the city’s established major basketball venue, rather than at one of the Pacific Northwest arenas listed as distractors. Climate Pledge Arena is in Seattle, Chase Center is in San Francisco, and T-Mobile Arena is in Las Vegas.
