Which animation studio produced the original Scooby-Doo series?

Hanna-Barbera produced the original Scooby-Doo series, Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!

The studio was founded by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera and became one of the most important American animation companies of the television era. Its productions included The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Yogi Bear, and Top Cat. Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! premiered in 1969 and established the core mystery-solving format involving Scooby, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne, and Velma.

Warner Bros. later acquired Hanna-Barbera and became associated with subsequent Scooby-Doo productions, which can create a modern-day attribution mix-up. However, the original series was a Hanna-Barbera production. The studio’s combination of comedy, recurring character designs, and economical television animation helped make Scooby-Doo one of its most enduring franchises.
