Which ancient wonder stood in Alexandria and was traditionally said to be over 100 metres tall?

The story behind the answer

The Lighthouse of Alexandria was the ancient wonder that stood in Alexandria and was traditionally said to be over 100 metres tall.

The lighthouse, also called the Pharos of Alexandria, was built on the island of Pharos beside the harbor of Alexandria in Ptolemaic Egypt. Construction is generally dated to the reigns of Ptolemy I and Ptolemy II, in the 3rd century BCE. It helped guide ships into one of the Mediterranean world’s busiest ports.

Ancient descriptions portray a monumental structure with multiple levels, probably including a square lower section, an octagonal middle section, and a cylindrical upper section. A fire and reflective surface were traditionally associated with its navigation role, though details of the lighting system are uncertain.

Earthquakes damaged the lighthouse repeatedly between the 10th and 14th centuries, and its remaining stones were eventually reused in the Citadel of Qaitbay. The lighthouse was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Its height is debated because surviving accounts differ, but estimates commonly place it between roughly 100 and 130 metres.
