Which Amazon service lets third-party sellers store and ship products?
Answer
Fulfillment by Amazon
Answer
Fulfillment by Amazon
Fulfillment by Amazon, commonly called FBA, lets third-party sellers store and ship products through Amazon’s fulfillment network. Sellers send inventory to Amazon fulfillment centers, where Amazon stores, picks, packs, and ships orders to customers.
FBA can also handle customer service and returns, depending on the applicable program and marketplace. It is separate from Amazon Marketplace: Marketplace is the platform where independent sellers list products, while FBA is an optional logistics and order-fulfillment service they can use.
FBA helped make third-party selling more scalable by giving smaller businesses access to infrastructure associated with Amazon’s retail operation. It can also make eligible listings available for Prime delivery. Sellers remain responsible for their products and business obligations, and not every item is eligible. Amazon Logistics, by contrast, refers to delivery and logistics operations rather than the complete seller-storage program.
