Fearless made Taylor Swift the youngest winner of the Grammy Award for Album of the Year at the time of her 2010 victory.
Swift was 20 when she won the prize for Fearless at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards. The album, released in 2008, combined country songwriting with accessible pop production and included songs such as “Love Story” and “You Belong with Me.”
Her record later changed when Billie Eilish won Album of the Year for When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? at age 18 in 2020. That means Fearless remains a major milestone in Swift’s career, but it is no longer the absolute age record.
Fearless also won Best Country Album and helped establish Swift as a dominant Grammy-recognized songwriter and recording artist. Swift later won Album of the Year again for 1989, folklore, and Midnights.
