Which album by Paul McCartney includes the song 'Maybe I'm Amazed'?

The story behind the answer

Paul McCartney's song “Maybe I'm Amazed” appears on his 1970 debut solo album, McCartney. The record was made shortly before and around the breakup of the Beatles, marking McCartney's first major release outside the group.

McCartney wrote the song as a deeply personal expression of gratitude to his wife, Linda, who supported him through the uncertainty and isolation surrounding the Beatles' collapse. He recorded the original studio version at EMI's Abbey Road studios in February 1970 and played all the instruments on the track.

Although “Maybe I'm Amazed” received substantial radio play, McCartney did not release the original studio recording as a single. A live version by Wings, recorded during the 1976 tour and released on Wings over America, became the better-known hit single and reached the US top ten.

Listeners sometimes associate the song primarily with Wings because of that successful live version. The original, however, belongs to McCartney, the self-titled album that began his solo-album sequence before McCartney II and McCartney III.
