Which actress starred in Andy Warhol’s 1965 film Poor Little Rich Girl?

Edie Sedgwick starred in Andy Warhol’s 1965 film Poor Little Rich Girl. The film presents Sedgwick in her apartment as she moves through everyday activities, including dressing, talking on the telephone, and taking drugs.

Poor Little Rich Girl was planned as a portrait of Sedgwick, one of the best-known performers associated with Warhol’s Factory. Its title refers to her privileged background and public image, while the film’s loose structure reflects Warhol’s interest in observation and real time.

The work is sometimes mixed up with Warhol’s other Sedgwick films, especially Beauty No. 2 and Kitchen. Sedgwick also appeared in several other Factory productions before her association with Warhol ended.
