Which actress portrayed Zoey Pierson?

Jennifer Morrison portrayed Zoey Pierson on How I Met Your Mother.

Zoey is introduced as an activist opposing the planned demolition of the historic Arcadian building. Ted, an architect working on the redevelopment, initially finds her intriguing before learning that their professional goals place them on opposite sides of the fight. Their antagonism gradually becomes a romance, making Zoey one of Ted's most prominent later relationships.

Zoey is married when Ted first becomes involved with her, and her husband is George van Smoot, better known as The Captain. After Zoey divorces him, she and Ted date, but the Arcadian conflict ultimately proves impossible to overcome. Ted chooses his architectural project, and the couple breaks up.

Morrison later became especially associated with Dr. Allison Cameron on House and Emma Swan on Once Upon a Time. Viewers sometimes mix up Zoey with Stella Zinman, another important Ted girlfriend; Stella was played by Sarah Chalke, while Zoey was played by Morrison.
