Which actress plays Tina Marrero in The Bear's final season?

Liza Colón-Zayas plays Tina Marrero in The Bear’s final season. Tina is the fiercely proud line cook whose abrasive first impression gradually gives way to a deeper relationship with Sydney and the rest of the kitchen team.

Colón-Zayas, a Puerto Rican American actress and playwright, brought the role to life across the series. Tina’s character is especially important because The Bear uses her to show how a demanding kitchen can become a place of professional growth and personal reinvention.

Colón-Zayas’s performance earned major recognition when she won the 2024 Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. She became the first Latina to win that category, giving the character and the actor a notable place in television history.

A common mix-up is confusing Tina’s performer with other prominent cast members. Molly Gordon plays Claire, Jamie Lee Curtis plays Donna Berzatto, and Abby Elliott plays Natalie “Sugar” Berzatto; none of them plays Tina.
