Which actress played Victoria, Ted's season 1 love interest?

Ashley Williams played Victoria, Ted’s season 1 love interest.

Victoria is introduced in the season 1 episode “Wedding,” where Ted meets her at the wedding of Stuart and Claudia. She is a talented baker and pastry chef, and Ted quickly falls for her after initially mistaking her for the bride. Their relationship becomes Ted’s first substantial romance of the series.

Victoria receives a pastry-making fellowship in Germany, creating a long-distance relationship with Ted. The arrangement collapses when Ted reconnects with Robin and lies to Victoria about ending their relationship. Victoria later returns to the story, but Ashley Williams’s first-season performance established the character as a memorable alternative to Robin.

The names in the wrong-answer list are easy to confuse with other How I Met Your Mother actresses. Jennifer Morrison played Zoey Pierson, Sarah Chalke played Stella Zinman, and Laura Prepon played Karen. Ashley Williams, who also appeared in television series such as The Good Doctor and Saving Grace, is the actress associated with Victoria.
