Which actor voices Avatar Wan?

Steven Yeun voices Avatar Wan in The Legend of Korra.

Wan is introduced in “Beginnings,” a two-part story in Book Two: Spirits. The episodes take Korra back 10,000 years to show how Wan became the first Avatar and how his connection with Raava established the Avatar cycle.

Wan begins as a thief living on a lion turtle, but his choices lead him into the spirit wilds, where he learns that elemental power carries serious responsibility. His story also explains the ancient conflict between Raava, the spirit of light and peace, and Vaatu, the spirit of darkness and chaos.

A common mix-up is that Steven Yeun voices the principal, younger version of Wan, while Stephen Stanton provides the voice for old Wan in later scenes. Yeun is also widely known for playing Glenn Rhee in The Walking Dead and later voicing Keith in Voltron: Legendary Defender.
