Which actor provides the English voice of Mimir in God of War (2018)?

Alastair Duncan provides the English voice of Mimir in God of War (2018).

Mimir is the severed talking head who becomes Kratos and Atreus’s guide through Norse mythology. Duncan’s performance gives the character a distinctive storytelling voice, allowing Mimir to explain legends, gods, creatures, and the history of the realms during boat journeys and other quieter moments.

Mimir is based on the wise figure Mímir from Norse mythology, but the game’s version is adapted for its own narrative. In the story, Odin kept Mimir imprisoned, and Kratos eventually frees him by severing his head. The Witch then reanimates the head so Mimir can travel with the pair.

The actor is sometimes confused with Richard Schiff, who voices Odin in God of War Ragnarök, or Christopher Judge, who voices Kratos. Alastair Duncan’s role is specifically Mimir in the English cast of the 2018 game.
