Which actor plays young Dexter Morgan in Dexter: Original Sin?

Patrick Gibson plays young Dexter Morgan in Dexter: Original Sin. He portrays Dexter during the character’s early twenties, when he is beginning his career and learning how to control his homicidal urges.

The series is a prequel to Dexter and is set in Miami in 1991. Gibson’s version is not a replacement for Michael C. Hall’s original performance; it is an earlier incarnation of the same character. Hall returns as the older Dexter’s voice and appears briefly in the series’ framing story.
