Which actor played Janice Soprano?

Aida Turturro played Janice Soprano in The Sopranos. Janice is Tony Soprano’s older sister, the eldest child of Johnny Boy and Livia Soprano, and one of the show’s most volatile recurring characters.

Turturro joined the series in its second season and portrayed Janice from 2000 to 2007. The character repeatedly reinvents herself, returning to New Jersey after years away and adopting identities connected with spirituality, counterculture, and self-improvement. Her relationships with Richie Aprile, Ralph Cifaretto, and Bobby Baccalieri become important parts of the story.
