Its sessions took place in New York and Los Angeles, and the project marked Sinatra’s first studio album with Jones since 1964’s It Might as Well Be Swing. The title track was written by Alan and Marilyn Bergman with Quincy Jones and Peggy Lipton Jones.

The word “solo” matters. Sinatra later recorded additional material and made the Duets albums, so L.A. Is My Lady is not necessarily described as his last recording of any kind. It is his last solo studio album before the later duet projects. Some Nice Things I've Missed and She Shot Me Down came earlier, while Trilogy was released in 1980.
