Which 1982 Ridley Scott film stars Harrison Ford as Rick Deckard?

The 1982 Ridley Scott film starring Harrison Ford as Rick Deckard is Blade Runner.

The film adapts Philip K. Dick’s 1968 novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? It moves the story to a rain-soaked, dystopian Los Angeles in 2019, where synthetic humans called replicants are hunted by specialized police known as blade runners. Deckard is recalled to track down a group of advanced replicants who have returned illegally to Earth.

Blade Runner also stars Rutger Hauer, Sean Young, and Edward James Olmos, with music by Vangelis. Its production design, neon-soaked cityscapes, philosophical questions about identity, and neo-noir atmosphere made it a major influence on cyberpunk cinema.

A common mix-up is confusing it with Blade Runner 2049, the 2017 sequel. Ford returned as Deckard in that film, but the original 1982 movie introduced the character.
