Where is the only surviving 1983 Corvette prototype displayed?

The story behind the answer

The only surviving 1983 Corvette prototype is displayed at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Chevrolet planned the fourth-generation Corvette for the 1983 model year, but production delays caused by supplier-quality and factory changeover problems led the company to cancel that model year. Only 43 prototypes and pre-production cars received 1983 vehicle identification numbers.

All but one were destroyed or converted into 1984-model vehicles. The survivor is a white Corvette with a medium-blue interior. It was once displayed above the employee entrance at the Bowling Green assembly plant before being restored and moved to the museum.

The car is especially notable because regular C4 production began as a 1984 model in January 1983. The prototype was also nearly lost in the National Corvette Museum sinkhole disaster of 2014, although it was recovered and restored.
