When was The Devil Wears Prada 2 released on digital download?
Answer
June 30, 2026
The Devil Wears Prada 2 was released on digital download on June 30, 2026.
Digital download means viewers could purchase or rent the film through online video stores rather than waiting for a physical disc or subscription-streaming release. This home-media date came after the movie’s theatrical run, which began in the United States on May 1, 2026.
The date is easy to mix up with the film’s later physical and streaming windows. The 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray editions arrived on July 28, while Disney+ and Hulu began streaming the movie on July 29. Those are separate release milestones, not the digital-download date.
The sequel was directed by David Frankel and written by Aline Brosh McKenna, the same director and writer associated with the 2006 original. Its home-media rollout therefore followed a conventional sequence: theaters first, digital purchase or rental next, physical media afterward, and subscription streaming later.
