That extra toughness makes Buckethead Zombie a priority target when it appears in a crowded lane. Ordinary pea attacks can eventually defeat it, but stronger tools such as Cherry Bomb, Squash, Spikeweed, or concentrated fire can remove the threat more quickly. Magnet-shroom can also pull away the bucket, leaving the zombie much more vulnerable.

The other options use different defensive or movement equipment. Conehead Zombie wears a traffic cone, Screen Door Zombie carries a screen door as a shield, and Ladder Zombie carries a ladder that can interfere with defensive plants.
