What was Wings' debut studio album?

Wings’ debut studio album was Wild Life.

Released in December 1971, Wild Life was the first album by Wings and Paul McCartney’s third studio album after the Beatles. The group’s lineup included McCartney, Linda McCartney, former Moody Blues guitarist Denny Laine and drummer Denny Seiwell, who had played on Ram. The album followed Paul and Linda’s jointly credited record by only a few months.

McCartney wanted Wild Life to sound immediate and unpolished, so the band recorded much of it quickly, often in only a few takes and with minimal overdubbing. The eight-track album combines original songs with a reggae-influenced version of “Love Is Strange.” “Dear Friend” is notable as McCartney’s attempted musical reconciliation with John Lennon.

A frequent mix-up is Red Rose Speedway, which was Wings’ next studio album, released in 1973. Back to the Egg and London Town came much later. Wild Life was commercially respectable, reaching number 11 in the UK and number 10 in the United States, although contemporary critics were often disappointed by its deliberately rough production.
