What was the superhero alias of Buddy Pine before he became Syndrome?

The story behind the answer

What was the superhero alias of Buddy Pine before he became Syndrome? He called himself Incrediboy. The name reflected his childhood dream of becoming Mr. Incredible’s sidekick.

Buddy Pine has no innate superpowers, but he is a gifted inventor who creates advanced gadgets to imitate superhero abilities. As a child, he approaches Mr. Incredible while the hero is trying to stop Bomb Voyage and insists that he can help. Bob rejects him, explaining that he works alone and that Buddy’s interference is dangerous.

During the encounter, Bomb Voyage attaches an explosive to Buddy’s cape. Mr. Incredible saves the boy, but the resulting destruction and Bob’s angry reaction leave Buddy humiliated. That rejection becomes the foundation of his later hatred of superheroes.

As an adult, Buddy reinvents himself as Syndrome, becoming a wealthy weapons designer and supervillain. “Incrediboy” is therefore not his final identity and not a separate powered hero. It is the alias he used before adopting the name Syndrome.
