What was the name of Will's girlfriend played by Nia Long?

Nia Long played Will Smith's girlfriend Lisa Wilkes on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. The character's full name is Beulah “Lisa” Wilkes, and she becomes one of Will's most important romantic relationships in the original series.

Lisa appears primarily during the fifth season, which aired from 1994 to 1995. Her relationship with Will is more serious than many of his earlier romances, and the two become engaged. Their engagement storyline gives the show opportunities to explore commitment, family expectations, and Will's uncertainty about marriage.

Nia Long joined the series after Jada Pinkett Smith, who had auditioned for the role, was not cast. Long's Lisa is often confused with other girlfriends from the show, including Jackie Ames and Beulah “Lisa” Wilkes's occasional shortened references. In the 2022 reboot Bel-Air, Lisa is played by Simone Joy Jones.
