The Dodgers' home stadium during Jackie Robinson's career was Ebbets Field. Located in Brooklyn, New York, the ballpark was the home of the Brooklyn Dodgers from 1913 through 1957, including Robinson's entire major-league career from 1947 to 1956.

Ebbets Field became especially important in baseball history when Robinson made his Brooklyn debut there on April 15, 1947. By becoming the first African American player in Major League Baseball's modern era, he helped transform the stadium into one of the defining sites of the civil-rights era in American sports.
