DryBreadZ, also known as DBZ, was the Bristol graffiti crew associated with Banksy in the 1990s.
Banksy developed within Bristol's graffiti scene at a time when spray-paint crews, music culture and public walls were closely connected. DryBreadZ was one of the groups linked to his early work, before stencils became the dominant method for his later international career.
The crew connection helps explain why Banksy's early artistic history is often discussed alongside other Bristol artists, including Inkie and 3D. It also places his work within a collective street-art culture rather than presenting him as an entirely isolated figure.
Banksy's later public image emphasized anonymity and individual authorship, but graffiti traditionally grows through crews, shared locations and informal networks.
