What was the name of the Apollo 15 command module that remained in lunar orbit?

The story behind the answer

Apollo 15’s command module was named Endeavour and remained in lunar orbit while the lunar module Falcon landed.

Endeavour carried commander David Scott, command-module pilot Alfred Worden and lunar-module pilot James Irwin to the Moon in July 1971. Worden stayed aboard Endeavour in lunar orbit while Scott and Irwin explored the surface.

The mission was the first of NASA’s J-series lunar expeditions, which emphasized extended surface operations and scientific investigation. Apollo 15 astronauts used the Lunar Roving Vehicle and deployed instruments at Hadley–Apennine, one of the most geologically interesting landing regions.

Endeavour is sometimes confused with Falcon, which was Apollo 15’s lunar module. The command module returned Worden, Scott and Irwin’s samples and film safely to Earth, while Falcon’s ascent stage was later deliberately crashed into the Moon.
