Eric Foreman was the first member of House’s original diagnostic team to later lead the department besides House. Omar Epps played Foreman in House M.D.
Foreman joined House’s initial team alongside Robert Chase and Allison Cameron. He is a neurologist whose analytical approach often places him in direct conflict with House’s methods. Over time, Foreman takes on greater administrative and medical responsibility at Princeton-Plainsboro.
Foreman eventually becomes dean of medicine at the hospital, succeeding Lisa Cuddy. The question can be confused with Robert Chase, who later becomes head of Diagnostic Medicine, or with House’s fellows, who led teams at different points. Foreman’s combination of original-team status and later hospital leadership makes him the relevant answer.
