What was the first Adidas Yeezy sneaker model released?
Answer
Yeezy Boost 750
Answer
Yeezy Boost 750
The first Adidas Yeezy sneaker model released was the Yeezy Boost 750. It marked Kanye West's debut with Adidas after he left Nike, where he had created the Air Yeezy line.
Adidas confirmed its collaboration with West in December 2013, and the Boost 750 became the partnership's first shoe in February 2015. Its high-top silhouette, oversized strap, and Boost cushioning gave it a distinctive look compared with conventional Adidas trainers. The first limited release sold 9,000 pairs and reportedly sold out within 10 minutes.
The Yeezy Boost 350 followed in June 2015 and eventually became one of the best-known Yeezy designs. That timing creates a common mix-up: the 350 was more widely released and more recognizable, but it was not the first Adidas Yeezy sneaker. The Yeezy 700 and Yeezy 500 arrived later, in 2017 and 2017-18 respectively. Adidas ended its partnership with West in October 2022.
