Harley-Davidson’s three-wheeled utility vehicle introduced in 1932 was called the Servi-Car.
The Servi-Car was designed for commercial and service work, including delivering vehicles from dealerships and supporting repair businesses. It had two rear wheels, a motorcycle-style front end, and a cargo or towing arrangement suited to practical transport.
Harley-Davidson produced the Servi-Car for many decades, making it one of the company’s longest-running model lines. Police departments, businesses, and motorcycle-sidecar-style service operations used it for various utility roles.
The Servi-Car is often confused with modern Harley-Davidson trikes such as the Tri Glide and Freewheeler. Those later vehicles are touring or recreational trikes, while the Servi-Car was primarily a compact commercial utility vehicle.
