What was Ateez's first release in the Golden Hour series?

The story behind the answer

Ateez's first release in the Golden Hour series was Golden Hour: Part.1.

Released on May 31, 2024, the EP is Ateez's tenth extended play. It arrived through KQ Entertainment, RCA Records, and Legacy Recordings, and contains six tracks. Its title track, "Work," became the release's main promotional single.

The title can be confused with Golden Hour: Part.2 because the two albums belong to the same continuing series and were both released in 2024. However, Part.1 came first chronologically, and its dedicated article describes it as the beginning of the series. The earlier albums Zero: Fever Part.1 and The World EP.2: Outlaw belong to different Ateez album series.

The EP also marked a major international moment for the group. It reached number two on the US Billboard 200 and number one on the South Korean Circle Album Chart. Its six-track sequence includes "Golden Hour," "Blind," "Work," "Empty Box," "Shaboom," and "Siren."
