Answer
Agatha Mary Clarissa Miller
Answer
Agatha Mary Clarissa Miller
Agatha Christie's full birth name was Agatha Mary Clarissa Miller. She was born with the surname Miller and later became internationally known by her married name, Agatha Christie.
Christie was born on 15 September 1890 in Torquay, Devon. Her parents were Frederick Alvah Miller, an American-born businessman, and Clarissa Margaret Miller, known as Clara. Agatha was the youngest of their three children and spent much of her childhood at the family home, Ashfield.
The name Agatha Christie came from her first marriage to Archibald Christie, whom she married in 1914. After their divorce, she retained Christie as her literary name. In 1930, she married archaeologist Max Mallowan and later used the name Agatha Christie Mallowan in some contexts.
Christie also wrote six romantic novels under the pseudonym Mary Westmacott. Her birth name is sometimes confused with her later married names, but Miller is the correct family name at birth.
