What type of school did Sage attend before Disney’s Camp Rock 3 begins?

Sage attended music school before Disney’s Camp Rock 3 begins.

The film explains that Sage broke up her band to attend a music school. This decision creates strain between Sage and her younger brother Desi, who arrives with her at Camp Rock for their first summer there. Her previous choice also explains why she is highly focused on the competition and her musical future.

Sage’s background is not simply a detail about education. It establishes the central tension between individual ambition and collaboration. At camp, she must work with other finalists, including Desi, Fletch, Rosie, and Cliff, while navigating the possibility of joining Connect 3’s tour.

The school should not be confused with Camp Rock itself. Camp Rock is a summer music camp, whereas Sage’s music school is the institution she attended before the events of the film. The distinction helps explain why her return to group performance is emotionally complicated.
